Redesigned store home page, search, filtering and checkout experiences on Mercato’s mobile app.

The designs were launched in 2022.

Store redesign results:

  1. A 40% increase in GMS attributable to the native app. This was a significant improvement over the initial goal of 30%.

  2. Strong user feedback, with users reporting that the app was now easier to use and navigate. Specifically, they mentioned that the improved browsing and search functionality made it much easier to find the items they were looking for.

Checkout redesign results:

  1. Reduced average completion time by 4 seconds

  2. Removed drop-off on tip selection step

  3. Increased conversion by 6% in a test on 50% of traffic on website.
